From the moment that He saw him, Thor Odison knew that he must meet the man that would become his husband. Loki Stark, the adoptive son of Anthony and Maria Stark and the adoptive brother of his rival Tony Stark. Loki was everything that Thor wanted in a boyfriend and potential husband. He was smart (of course, look at his parents and brother) he was handsome (again, look at those Stark Genes) and he was a bit mischievous but Thor could work on that with him once they started dating. He had it all planned out. A white picket fence, two kids, a place far away from Tony Stark. But first he needed to ask him out. And that, was going to be the problem. Tony kept an eye on his brother like a hawk eying a meal. In the last year alone Tony scared away five men that showed interest in Loki. Phillip Coulson, the school president had shown interest, had even gone as far as to ask Tony if he could ask him out and that had been a bust. Tony told the man flat out no and he never asked again. Clint Barton, School jock had asked to and that ended with Tony sending Barton on a trip the ER. No one asked after the last three. Tony was defensive of his brother and well, Thor wanted him and he was going to get him. No matter if he had to grovel at Tony's feet to be able to even talk to him. He would do it. When Thor Odison set his mind to something, or on someone he was determined to see it through.

"He's not going to let you date Loki. Give it up." Sif Anderson, Thor's best friend told him as they took a seat for lunch. They sat outside, where most of the seniors sat. Tony and Loki sat in the far back next to the only tree that provided shade to the table. Loki seemed uninterested as usual, deep in a book that he was reading while Tony sat with his friend's and boyfriend, Thor's old friend Piotr Rasputin.

"I'm not going to give up. You know me better than that Sif. When have I ever given up on anything that I want?" Thor asked. He turned to his friend, she wore a tiny smile.

"Never. Ever. That I remember. You're dedicated to what you do. I just don't-"

"I know. But come on. Tony can't protect his brother all the time. It's not right. And it's sort of weird to be honest."

"I don't want to see you get hurt."

"I won't. Trust me. I won't. I'm going to get Loki on a date. No matter what I have to do Sif."

"Are you sure about that Thor? Tony is a handful. I don't want-He's a dick. A real dick."

"I know that. But maybe if I could get through to Piotr then I could get through to Tony and well then I could get Loki. That should work right?"

Sif shrugged. "I guess."
