A Lover's Midnight Thoughts.

Disclaimer: I do not own Inuyasha

I run my hand gently down her cold, beautiful cheek. She is truly lovely. Her pale skin is smooth and flawless. I stare at her lovely face, her full, dark lashes down, covering her cold grey eyes. She is asleep, next to me in my bed. The covers come up to just above her large bosom. My Kikyo is simply lovely, her body and her cold, broken soul that just cries for love. And I'll give her that love, as much as she needs. She does not wish to return to hell anymore, she likes it here with me to much.

Her long raven hair is undone, lying out behind her. It's long and beautiful. So silky, and lovely to touch. Her priestess outfit lies besides our bed, along with my clothes, thrown off in the heat of passion last night. I smile to remember that, our chest pressed together, my…well, you get the idea. I blush a bit, but my smile grows wider.

Oh, I just love her so much. And she loves me, I can sense it. She has told me that, and those words still thrill me to the very bone. It was so lovely to hear. The first time she said that, it just sent chills through my spine. I had always though she loved him. I'm so glad she doesn't, at least not anymore. She said that was just a mistake, a regrettable one.

She said she was attracted to me from the first time we met. The situation had been odd to feel such things, and she tried to deny her feelings, as I had done. But we finally came out to one another. And now, we are together. I am still surprised, I thought all of the social stigma around a couple like us would prevent us from being anything other then friends. Especially in this era. But, Kikyo is just that special I guess.

She turns over in her sleep, her face softening into a smile and she murmurs my name, her voice music to my ears. "Kagome…I love you…." She says in her dreams.

I snuggle closer to her. "And I love you." I say softly, closing my eyes to fall asleep.

A/N- Short, but I liked it. I bet you all thought it was Inuyasha, didn't you! Review please!
