Cap Ferrat-
'our first s/v moment of the season is extended to what we wish had happened. s/v obviously'

*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*

Sydney and Vaughn stared at each other. This was the moment they had been waiting for for so long, unawkward and under somewhat normal circumstances. Well, at least no one was watching them.

They grinned. Sydney moved past Vaughn but he caught her wrist as she passed. She turned, briefly startled, but smiled as he brought her hand to his face and gently pressed his lips against it. He was always such a gentleman and she never thought otherwise.

Sydney didn't say anything as he continued, kissing her arm up to her shoulder, when he put his other arm on her back and started to pull her zipper down, his fingertips lingering on her skin. He worked up to her jawbone.

That was when she drew her head away and looked him in the eye before kissing him softly on the lips. She brought her arms around the neck she had longed to touch, in lip-lock with the man she had longed to kiss.

The fleeting moments of unresolved sexual tension they had shared numerous times finally reached critical mass as they kissed each other hungrily. Sydney found herself on the grass under Vaughn as they still kissed, too lost in the moment to do anything more. Her blonde wig was beginning to slip from the mixture of sweat they were creating and the dew on the grass beneath her. Vaughn pushed it off, running his fingers through the silken strands of brown he had wanted to touch ever since that night on the pier when he had grasped her hand and held it, restoring her self-confidence and her faith in the rest of the world.

But, alas, time flees from the wrath of love. From just a few feet away Dixon's voice came through the microphone that had been pulled out of her ear with the wig.

"Syd, where are you? Syd?"

They stopped and sat up, kneeling. Sydney reached for her wig and spoke. "I read you loud and clear Dixon. I'm right outside the building."

She stood up, looking for Vaughn. He had already started walking away. The time they shared in France could never be replicated, nor continued. In Cap Ferrat, both would leave memories.

i cant believe it took this long for me to come up with this idea. i've been rewatching my alias tapes out of boredom, and the cap ferrat moment is definitely one of my faves besides salvation's grasshopper joke and restaurant scene. oh, but the promo for ep 2.12 looks AWESOME! i so cannot wait.
