Hagrid and the basilisk
If I owned harry potter then I'd be vacationing right about now.
Note: I remembered that Hagrid was sent to azkaban halfway through, but decided to finish and post this anyway.
"So the creature inside of the chamber is a basilisk!"
Ron cried (no, not with tears, he shouted)
"Quick, let's get Hagrid, he knows all about magical animals!"
Harry sensibly replied.
"Open." Harry hissed.
The entrance to the chamber of secrets opened. It was quite impressive.
Harry took one, long look at his half-giant friend, then turned back to the chamber
"Open wider. And get us some heavy-duty stairs."
The basilisk writhed in the grip of its foe, spinning and striking, but to no avail.
"Awww aren't you just the cutest widdle thing. I'm going to hug you, and squeeze you, and call you Georgina."
"Help! Help! I'll do anything,"the serpent hissed, "just get him away from me!"
"Anything?" Harry's grin could be felt for miles.
"Yes! Anything!"
"Okay, first, bite that book!"
"Nooooo! I'm melting! Tom cried (with tears) as he faded away.
"Excellent."
"Hello aunt petunia, uncle Vernon, Dudley, I'd like to introduce you to my new pet, Georgina."
Harry said as he pulled out his magically shrunk snake.
