Baby Mine
Disclaimer: I don't own the Originals or Baby Mine.
Author's Note: This story is dedicated to the six adult staff members and the twenty children who died in the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting on December14, 2012 and those who were injured, the mothers of those twenty children who will never again get to hold them and the shooter's mother.
Baby mine, don't you cry. Baby mine, dry your eyes. Rest your head close to my heart never to part, baby of mine.
"Please, please can I hold her?" Hayley asked Genevieve. Genevieve walked over to her and handed the baby to her. As she held her daughter Haley felt so many things at once. Love for her daughter, a need to protect her and fear for what she knew the witches were going to do to her. Hayley looked up at Klaus. She could tell Klaus felt the same way she did as he looked down at their baby girl. "Oh" he said.
Author's Note: Sorry for the kind of abrupt ending to this chapter but you know what happens next and I didn't think that would be appropriate for a story dedicated to people who were murdered.
