A/N- Ok! This is a prelude to a story I'm thinking about writing. The setting will be about 5 or 6 years after this story (they are first years write now.) I just want to see what everyone thinks. So please R & R. Flames will be extinguished. I do not own Harry Potter just my OC.
Complicated
"Sirius! Wait Up!" I huffed as I ran after the dark haired boy. "Hey! Sirius!" Finally I caught up to him and grabbed his shoulder so he'd turn around.
His grey eyes stared back into my brown ones. Neither of us had hit our growth spurts yet so he was still only a few inches taller than me.
"I've been running after your butt forever!" I laughed and hugged my best friend. I felt him stiffen in my embrace and looked at him. His eyes were shifting around nervously.
"What's wrong Siri?"
"Nothing…" He dropped his arms and stepped away from me.
"Ok…" Obviously I didn't believe him. I mean we've been best friends since we were little. I know everything about him and vice versa. He is also the only one who can symphathize with how my overly pureblood enthusiastic family treats me. Yes. I like Sirius am a blood traitor and very proud to admit it. Though since I was sorted into Slytherin it does make me a lot of enemies. I see it however as just another way to make my family mad, by being a blood traitor Slytherin. It's ironic really.
"I need to get back to my commons." He's voice was shaky, very unlike the cocky boy I knew.
"Oh! Is it a lot of fun there? I know you've been spending a lot of time with James…" I personally didn't like James. He was too snooty and egotistical. Nothing like Sirius or me…well actually Sirius has been acting different lately.
"Ya…it's great…" He managed a small smile.
"Can you believe I was sorted into Slytherin? It's not all bad though…mostly, but not all." I laughed.
Um…ya…listen Kally…"
"Sirius! We've been looking everywhere for- hey what are you doing talking to her?" James Potter was now gawking at us closely followed by Remus and Peter.
"I was talking to Sirius. It's a free country."
"But you're a Slytherin!"
"So?"
"Come on Sirius" Sirius looked from me to James.
"Sirius, you can go, but when do you want to hang out again?"
"With a Slytherin?" James looked disgusted.
"Kally…I don't think we should hang out anymore…you know with our houses and all." Sirius looked at me saddened.
"But you're my best friend."
Sirius looked at his impatient friends. "Not anymore."
"Why have you changed so much? Who are you trying to impress?" I raised my voice, my fist clenching.
"Listen! I don't want to be friends with a loser Slytherin!"
I fought back tears. "Fine! I don't want to be friends with a stereotypical Gryffindor!"
Sirius just turned and started to go after his new friends.
"I-I hate you Sirius Black!" I screamed so loud it echoed off the stone castle walls.
He briefly stopped before funning after them. I slid against the wall and began to sob. I hate what you've become Sirius, but I used to love you so much.
A/n- once again R & R! hope you enjoyed. And this story will be T-M rated by the way.
