"We'll be Friends Forever, won't we, Pooh?' asked Piglet.

Even longer,' Pooh answered."

It was a beautiful summer day in Godric Hallow's. The sun was high in the sky and there was not a cloud in sight. The grass seemed greener and the air clearer, as if everything was at peace. But then everything was peaceful.

The war had ended, with many innocent lives lost and great sacrifices, exactly eleven years previous. In this new age of freedom, while still grieving their losses peoples could start their lives, a relationship or even a family.

That was exactly what Harry Potter and Ginevra (Weasley) Potter had done. After Harry had defeated Voldemort, he and Ginevra had resumed their relationship then went on to their careers. Harry was now an accomplished Auror who sometimes gave D.A.D.A lessons and Ginny played professionally for the Holyhead Harpies. They wed in fall 2003 and went on to have three children named James Sirius, Albus Severus and Lily Luna.

Together they made their home in Godric Hallow's in the old Potter eastat where they raised their three children.

On this perticular day their eldest son, James was outside playing on "Queen-bee" with his bestfriend at the time. Queen-bee was a pirate ship added to the park a few years ago for children to play on, having hidden little games inside of it. It had the words "Queen Mary" along the side and was painted in bright yellow and black, giving it's name "Queen-bee".

A four year old James Potter was fighting away invisible pirates on the quarterbeck of the ship, brown eyes filled with mischievous, he let out a battle cry and continued his game. A twinkleling laugh sounded behind him and he turned to see his bestfriend and neighbore, Katerina O'Neil in the same possition as himself.

Katerina was a small girl with pale skin and bright blue eyes. She had long brown hair that framed her heart shaped face and accented her dimples perfectly. She may have looked like a sweet little girl but she loved to play ruff with the boys in the neighborhood.

Slowly the "pirates" began to to corner the two, intell they reached the end of the boat.

"What should we do now, Kat?" asked James in a childish voice.

"Oh, Jamesie" said Katerina in a teasing voice, while smiling at James' glare for using the nickname she had made up when they first met. "We jump of course!" she cried.

Katerina ran to the tip of the boat where she bent down to cross her velcrow shoes together and wraped her arms around her torso. Sending one last smile at James, she jumped off the boat staight as a needle.

She hit the ground with a thud and another body quickly followed. Their laughs and cries could be herd across the way as they tried to untangled their limbs.

"Katerina! Time for dinner!" called Mrs. O'Neil.

James junped up while grabbing Kate's hand and together they ran back home. When they got closer they to their homes, they slowed down knowing they wouldn't see eachother intell tomorow.

"Hey Jamie?" Kat asked softly.

"Ya Kat?"

"Do you think we'll always be friends?" she aked worriedly.

"Of course Kat!"James answered like it was obvious. "Why would you even ask that?"

"Well, what if we stop talking to eachother and make new friends?"

"Even if we don't talk anymore, which will never happen, we'll always be bestfriends!" James vowed.

James quickly poked Kat in the stomac and ran off before she could react. With a sream Kat giggled and chased after James all the way back to their seperate houses.
