Viktor came home after practice to find that his small flat looked like a warzone. Or like a storm had hit. And technically, if you considered a frazzled witch a storm, it had been hit.

Hermione was levitating the couch into a new positon. She had stacks of everything all over. The bookshelves were on a different wall, and had a few things replaced, though most of them were on the floor.

"Vat are you doing?" he asked once the couch was safely on the floor.

Hermione jumped slightly, being knocked out of her zone by the question. She turned, a bright smile on her face and kissed Viktor on the cheek.

"Sorry, I had been hoping to be done before you got home."

"You say that like you haff a small project. Not virlvind in our living room."

Hermione laughed at his description. "If it was a whirlwind there would be a lot more mess."

Viktor's mouth quirked upward, though he was trying to keep from smiling. "You still haff not told me vat you are doing?"

Hermione blushed. "I was trying to make the room better. I'd been through three different arrangements, and thought all of them were horrible."

"It looks fine," he said. "If ve put stuff back, it should be good."

Hermione smiled. "I hoped you would like it."

"I vill like vatever you do." He kissed her temple.

"I guess it's better than needing to move a mountain to get to you."

And once they had everything in place and were relaxing on the couch, Viktor had to admit she was right. He would move a mountain to get to her, and she would do the same, but this was so much better.
