"I want to do it."

Marceline's hand stopped in mid-air, where she was holding her base guitar reclined against the board of Bonnie's bed, with a slightly wide-eyed suggestion. "Uh.. pardon?"

"What we talked about."

Marceline turned her head to the left, to the big pink vanity where Bonnie sat at. She had been brushing her hair, but the brush had since stopped moving and Bonnie sat there staring into the mirror.

"...We talk about a lot of things Bub-bubs.." Marceline said as she tuned her guitar casually, "what in specific?"

Bonnie sighed and finally looked up, almost shyly to meet Marcy's eyes in the reflection of the mirror. "You know.. creating an heir."

Marceline gaped slightly and sat up, putting her guitar down against the bed. "Wait, really? But I thought you-"

"I know," Bonnie interupted, "It's just... I've been thinking about it lately."

Marceline stared at Bonnie's back for a moment before getting up and floating over to where she sat. She looked into the relfection of the mirror to see Bonnie's face; she had a tired, forlorned epression on her face, and didn't meet her eyes, looking down with furowed brows.

Marceline put her hands on her shoulders. "Thinking about what Bubs?"

Bonnie sighed. "About what will happen if something happens to me."

"But nothing's going to happen to you. And if it does, I'll be there for you-"

"I know." Bonnie smiled slightly at her. "But the more I think about it.. if something DID happen to me... what would happen to my kingdom? I couldn't let Lemongrab inherit it, and he's the only heir I have technically. I tried so hard when I created Goliad but.. I think my desire for creating a perfect leader overdid it. and now look at her.. stuck in a mind battle for all eternity.

Bonnie turned around in her chair and took Marceline's hands, her eyes shiny, "The point is.. I've given it a lot of thought. I'm ready to be a parent with you."

Marcy stared back with shiny hopeful eyes, "Really?"

"Yes." Bonnie stood up then and walked over to her nightstand, where she opened the drawer and pulled out a scrapbook. "Let's have a child."

Marceline grinned.
