A/N: While I'm not a fan of the Nicholas Sparks movie based off his book, "The Notebook", I can agree along with the rest of the world that the scene where they kiss in the rain is just incredible beautiful. Every girl wants to have that. I however, just want my OTP to have that. So, I wrote it. In Blaine's POV, after The Break-Up.
"You could have texted," Kurt said, crossing his arms.
I didn't know what to say.
Fuck, yes I did.
"I could have texted you?" I took a step forward and looked the beautiful man square in the eye. "I called you."
Kurt shook his head. "No, you didn't." A rumble of thunder could be heard as rain began sprinkling.
"Yes, I did. I called you every day. Every damn day, for 119 days."
"You kept count?" he asked. The rain was pounding, but I didn't care. He needed to know.
I nodded. "Today would have been 120, but I wanted to keep this a surprise. You remember the promise, right?"
"Of course I do," Kurt whispered. I smoothed back the wet hair that had been plastered to his forehead.
"Good," I said, and surged forward. I held his body close to mine as our lips mixed together, longing to make up 119 days of absence. His hands crept up to caress the sides of my face. I lifted his small frame into the air as his legs wrapped around my waist.
He pulled back, eyes still closed, but not touching me. I took a few deep breaths, watching little droplets glide down Kurt's cheeks.
"I love you," I whispered, looking up at him. He finally opened his eyes so I could see the glasz orbs. "I have ever since the moment I met you on the staircase. And even when I thought you were cheating on me with Chauncey-"
"Chandler," Kurt giggled.
"And when you laugh! Every time you laugh, I feel like an angel got it's wings or some dumb line like that. Because that's how you make me feel."
He pressed a kiss to my lips, and I let him slide down my wet body. "If you don't think I feel the same, you've got to be kidding me."
I looked at him questioningly, but when our lips met again, I knew that was it. This is love. It's real.
And Kurt will never slip away from me again.
