Magnus Bane's cat eyes flitted across the room until they landed on a certain blue-eyed Shadowhunter sitting on his sofa. Alec Lightwood's eyes were pained as he looked down. Magnus sighed as his mind wandered to all the times he had Alec in his arms. It had been so perfect until everything fell apart.

"Magnus, are you going to explain why you called us here or what?" asked Isabelle, interrupting his thoughts.

She was leaning against Simon's chest on the floor. Jace and Clary were cuddled together on the loveseat. Jordan had his arm around Maia's shoulders, sitting next to Alec. Alec. Magnus sighed again, wishing he had Alec was in his arms on his recliner.

"I'll tell you when everyone gets here," replied Magnus.

At that moment, Valentina walked through the door, hand in hand with her boyfriend, Draco Malfoy. Following her were her friends, Blaise Zabini, Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ronald Weasley, and Neville Longbottom.

"Hey, Magnus, is everything alright? Why did you call us here?" asked Valentina as she settled next to Magnus with Draco.

"Hi, Valentina!" chirped Jace, followed by a chorus of hellos from the rest of the people in the room. Valentina introduced everyone and her friends sat together on the floor.

Magnus snapped his fingers and there was a bright white light. Five male and three female teenagers, looking very disoriented, appeared when the light faded.

"Mum? Dad?" exclaimed Harry, jumping up from his seat.

James Potter and Lily Evans looked around, wondering who Harry was talking to but he was looking directly at them. Bewildered, they awkwardly hugged Harry as he flung himself into their arms.

"Magnus, what is going on? How did you manage to bring James Potter, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, Severus Snape, Lily Evans, Narcissa Black, Lucius Malfoy, and Bellatrix Black here?" asked Valentina, eyes widening.

The younger generation of wizards in the room, except Draco and Valentina, erupted in shouting upon hearing Bellatrix and Lucius's names. Confusion raged in the room until Magnus shouted,

"ENOUGH! Do you want to know why I called you all here or not?"

Everyone quieted down and Magnus rose to retrieve a stack of books from his desk. Placing them on the coffee table in the middle of the circle of people, he spoke,

"I found these books on my doorstep this morning and I thought that you'd all like you read them since they are about us. Seven books about those of you from the Wizarding world and six books about us from the Shadowhunter world, well, the last book is about our future so I'm not sure if you want to read it or not."

Everyone sat in silence until Valentina reached for Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.

"I'm going to read, okay?" she stated, staring at the rest of them. They nodded and she gently opened the book.
