"Just look at how you smile at her, Natsume. 'Ohh, I'm the nicest person you'll ever meet.' Fake." I said, mocking my best friend.
"Shut up, Sumire."
"So, do you think you'll be okay tonight?"
"I'll be fine."
"Don't do any wrong move to her. You got one shot of this, man! Don't ruin it, alright?" I said, patting Natsume's back.
His back is so strong.
Natsume is going out with his crush tonight. Nope, it is not a date because they are going out in a group. And yes, this is the best shot he can take.
.
We were sitting at our usual place when his crush walked towards us.
"Hey." Natsume greeted her with his fake, goody goody smile.
"Hey." The girl greeted back with her nice smile.
This girl is just so perfect. I envy her.
"Uhm should we get going now? I guess the concert will start in a few minutes." Natsume said.
"Oh, yeah. I think we should. I'll just get my things. See you at the lobby?" The girl smiled.
"Alright." And yes, there you go. Another fake smile from Natsume.
I chuckled.
"What?" Natsume looked at me meanly.
"You are just sooo fake. You're a mean person, man. You can't be nice." I teased him while he just give me this usual scary and mean look of his.
"Anyway, you have to go. Good luck. Tell me about it. I'm so jealous of you. You get to hear my favorite band." I added.
It's true, though. They get to hear my favorite band while I can't.
Natsume and his crush together.
My heart tightened.
"Yeah. Text me later if you can make it. I'll listen with you." He said, walking away.
"Stupid. Why would I believe you?" I whispered, holding my tightening chest, as his silhouette moved farther and farther away from me.
