"Miley! Wait, it's not what it looks like!" Nick pleaded, hurrying after her as he slid into his jeans and began buttoning up his shirt.
She turned to face him, holding back angry tears. "Okay Nick, what does it look like then? I've always wanted to know what the guy says in a situation like this, because in movies, the girl is smart and walks away from the asshole cheating on her. Lucky for you, I'm not feeling smart today so lay it on me. Were you possessed by some super natural being? Did the whore hypnotize you? Did you just forget how to say no?" she said bitterly.
He looked nervously at the ground. "I'm sorry."
"You can't even look me in the eyes and tell me that you're sorry," she scoffed. "Here's a tip, when you're lying, if you want someone to even begin to believe you, make at least some eye contact or you're just talking to yourself."
He was silent and was now looking her right in the eyes.
"And when you cheat on her," she said motioning to the room she had just seen the two in, "I hope you remember right now. Because Karma's a bitch and I really hope you get what you deserve."
"Mi-wait," he started again.
"And that sure as hell isn't me," and with that she walked away.
