Saturday, 3:46 a.m.
Riku had awoken early. The sun was nowhere near rising. He knew that. He sat on the beach hoping that something exciting might happen. He really wanted to get off of this island. Not for good, just for an adventure!
"You long to escape." Riku flipped around to find the source of the voice. It was a man hidden under a hood on a long, brown cloak. "You seek adventure. I have a way for you to find it."
A large black portal opened next to the man. "Step into this portal and you will be off of this island for twenty-four hours."
"What?" Riku asked. Riku stuck his hand into the portal. It seemed okay, and he did want to get away. He slowly stepped through the portal.

Saturday, 6:57 a.m.
He slowly opened his eyes. He was in bed. "It was all a dream." He mumbled to himself. He closed his eyes. Then he noticed that his voice had sounded weird. "Hello?" He said. His voice did sound weird. Riku sat up in bed. This wasn't his room. He ran to the window and looked out at a bustling metropolis. This wasn't the Destiny Islands.
He ran to a mirror and looked into it. All he saw in the mirror was some scraggly fourteen years old. Plain brown hair, freckles, and the works. He then realized that he had switched bodies with some kid. That's how he got off of the island.
He ran downstairs for breakfast. He was going to have to play along.
"Hi Ben. What do you want for breakfast?" The apparent mother of the kid said.
"Fish." Said Riku. The mother and father stared at him. "Um, pancakes. Yeah, pancakes."
It was 7:00 in the morning and he was already messing up. He wondered how Ben was doing in Riku's body.

Saturday 8:43 a.m.
Riku was asleep on the beach. Ben woke up in Riku's body. "Where am I?" He thought. A light breeze blew through the Islands. A wisp of white hair flowed in front of his eye. "Huh? I don't have silver hair." He stood up. He then realized he didn't have to use his hands to get up. He looked down at he seashells lining the ocean. They seemed so far away. "I must have really grown last night." He said.
Kairi came running over. "You're just as bad as Sora!" She laughed.
"Where am I?" He asked her. His own deep voice scared him.
"Riku, what's wrong?" Kairi asked.
"Riku?" He said again.
"Yeah. Do you have amnesia." She asked.
"I guess, cause I don't remember any of this. My name isn't Riku, it's Ben." He said.
Sora came running up to Riku and Kairi. "What's going on?" Sora asked.
"This isn't my body!" Riku said. "My name is Ben, I live in New York, and I go to Hubert Junior High."
"He's serious." Said Kairi.
"Tell us more." Said Sora.
"It all started this morning."
