Princess Bubblegum's POV

"Wait a minute, peeps." Finn said. "I'll be right back." I sighed. I hated being alone with Marceline. I fiddled with B-MO for a few minutes, trying to ignore Marceline.

I don't absolutely loathe Marceline. It's just hard for me to relate to people with such dark pasts, that's all. B-MO powered down. I sighed again.

Marceline looked at me. "What, are you pissed that you have to make small talk with me?" I scoffed. "No, it's just that I was having fun playing-err…" I looked down at B-MO's burned out screen. "Bubblegum Blast." I said brokenly.

"Pfft," Marceline scoffed. "Whatever." I stood up. I HATE it when people assume things about me. "I DO want to talk to you." I said firmly. Marceline looked up at me and laughed. "Yeah, right." Marceline said. "You don't trust me at all." "I DO trust you!" I shouted. Marceline looked up at me in disbelief. "Oh, REALLY?" She said.

"Yes, REALLY." I said, my face turning hot.

Marceline leaned in so close we were touching noses. She said 7 words that make my skin crawl. "How well do you trust me, Bonnibelle?" I blushed angrily. "I trust you more than anything in the kingdom!" I shouted. Oops. My lie got out of control.

Marceline started twirling my hair and locked eyes with me. "Prove it." she snapped. "HOW?" I said, nervously. Marceline smirked.

"I want you... to prove it. Any way you want." She calmly explained. I chewed on my fingernails, thinking. I sighed. "I can't think of a way."

"So you CAN'T trust me," Marceline yelled, "And you have no way to prove that you d-" I kissed her. Don't judge me. I just wanted her to stop talking. REALLY.

After the kiss, Marceline smiled. Finn walked into the room. "What are you guys doing?" He asked. I was about to say something, but Marceline spoke up.

"Just having a little fun." She said. Finn walked out again. Marceline winked at me. "I always wanted to know what Bubblegum tasted like," She said.
