Dear Seddiers,
sorry I'm late but my OTP (Dan&Blair from Gossip Girl) had been destroyed on Monday and I felt more dead than alive since then.
I hope this missing moment doesn't suck :P
" Freddie! "
He heard Sam's voice calling him, but he didn't stop; instead he quickened his pace and turned into a desert corridor and sat down, hoping she wouldn't find him.
But of course she did.
" Go away, Sam " he said, tired. He didn't want to fight anymore. He just wanted her to leave him alone. But a part of him knew she wouldn't, so he wasn't that surprised when he found her sitting on the floor in front of him.
He just looked at her. Her blond hair, unkempt as usual, her blue eyes staring right into his, the curves of her body he had desperately tried to forget.
He noticed she wasn't wearing her Pear Store t-shirt anymore, so he asked her where she put it.
" I threw it away " she told him, and to answer his other silent question, she added " I quit, Frednerd "
" Why would you do that? "
She shrugged " Why I call you Frednerd? I don't know, I guess it kind of fits… I mean, you're called Freddie and you're obviously a nerd… "
He couldn't help the small smile that crossed his face at her misunderstanding the question " I meant, why did you quit, Sam? "
She shrugged another time and gave him an obvious look " Who would I bother with you gone? I took the job just because it was a perfect opportunity to annoy you " she smirked proudly at him, and he rolled his eyes, but a bit amused.
His little smile fade into confusion when she went on saying " And I'm sorry "
" What? " asked Freddie, not sure he heard right. Sam Puckett had just apologized to him?
" Oh, don't make me repeat it! " she turned her head so she wouldn't look at him " But I think you deserved some sort of apology since I got you fired. Oh, and I'm also sorry for that time I went to your house and eat all your food. And that time I exchanged our papers in class and I got an A- while you got a D "
" Sam! " exclaimed Freddie, incredulous " That's why I found myself a D without knowing how I got it! "
" Yeah, well… " she gave him a small smile.
" Why are you apologizing now? "
" Because I promised you I would apologize every few year so I could start fresh again " she raised an eyebrow, suggestively " Remember? "
" How could I forget? " he answered, and finally gave her a true smile " I have to apologize too, Sam. I… " he scratched the back of his head, embarrassed " I… haven't been really kind to you, lately "
She just tilted her head in agreement.
" So… I'm sorry "
He almost expected her to say something deep in response, but she just shrugged again and said " I'm hungry "
Freddie laughed and got up, holding her his hand to help her. She took it and smiled at him again. She had forgotten he could be a gentleman sometimes.
" Come on " he told her, still holding on her hand " I'll buy you a smoothie "
The fact that they both sat in a corridor is a way to honor Dair.
Sorry, I just can't get them out of my mind!
Reviews are very much appreciated (:
