The bell over the door jingled cheerfully announcing the entrance of a customer. Hanataro looked up and offered a smile, as he always did.
The smile was returned by the customer. He was a young man, probaly a highschool student, judging by the uniform. He was tall and think with untidy black hair and mismatched blue and gold eyes. A pair of glasses perched on the end of his nose.
"Welcome. How can I help you?" Hanataro greeted.
The young man rubbed the back of his neck in a vaguely embarrassed sort of way as he made his way to the counter. "Ahh... Do you carry eki-kyabe here?"
Hanataro nodded. "Yes. Let me show you where it is."
He moved from behind the counter and walked down one of the isles. He scanned the shelves until he found it. "Here you go." He said, holding it up.
"Thank you." The teen replied, reaching to take it. Fingers brushed in the transaction and both boys were jolted by a strange tinging in their finger tips. Hanataro nearly released his grip on the bottle too soon.
He tugged his hand back quickly and smiled nervously. "So bring that to the front and I'll ring it up for you. Anything else?"
The teen blinked and tightened his grip on the bottle, also offering a nervous smile. "Ah... no. That's it."
Hanataro hurried to the counter and scanned the bottle, ringing up the medicine quickly. Money was exchanged, both careful not to make contact again. And then Hanataro handed over the receipt.
"Thankyou. Please come again."
The boy offered another small smile before he pushed open the door and left.
Hanataro couldn't help but notice the strange smoke-like creature that followed him down the street. He flexed his fingers in front of his face and wondered just what kind of spiritual pressure the young man possessed.
The bell over the door jingled cheerfully announcing the entrance of a customer. Hanataro pushed his thoughts to the back of his head and greeted the customer with a smile.
