A/N: Just a little oneshot about a regular day at the Fenton's.

Read and review, please?

It was just a normal Sunday morning in the Fenton household, Mom and Dad were perfecting a new invention, Jazz was reading a psychology book while eating toast, and I was trying hard to stay awake and avoid toast while trying to eat my cereal.

Suddenly, my head jerked up and something blue came out of my mouth. My ghost sense!

But here? At breakfast?

An alarm starting blaring and everyone jumped.

"It's the Fenton Ghost Detector!" Dad bellowed, waving his newest invention around. "A ghost! And it says… Level 10!"

Mom leapt into action. "Everyone, out the door!" She ushered Jazz and me out the door (Jazz and I, I know, I know. Jeez.) "Out of the house, kids!"

She and Dad ran out of the door, Jazz and I following them.

I tried to walk out of the door, but-

I couldn't.

I slammed head-on at some invisible force that shocked me. "Hey! What gives?" I rubbed my sore nose. I pushed with all my might, but it just shocked me more. Usually, I could still go through ghost shields, as long as I was in human form, but now? What was that shield made of?

Mom, Dad and Jazz stared at me, confused and concerned.

"I- I can't-"

"Yes, you can, it's a ghost shield, our newest model! It doesn't let anything with ectoplasm in it pass through, that's why we didn't take our weapons," Mom said frantically.

Well, that explained why.

I ran back into the kitchen, furious. Who was this ghost, barging in while I tried to finish my Froot Loops?

I changed into my ghost form and then heard something from behind me.

I turned around, about to ram my fist into the ghost, and found myself face to face with-

Cujo.

"Really, Cujo? Really?" was all I got out before he bounced right at me. I fell down, unable to resist laughing. "Hey, okay, down, boy, down!"

Cujo kept licking me, but I got up and walked back to the shield. My parents and Jazz were facing the other way, all crowded around some other ghost device.

Cujo was still yapping at my feet. I looked down, and found a tiny object- the Fenton Ghost Detector Dad was using.

"Ghost Detected," it stated. "Threat Level: 10."

I glanced down at Cujo, who was now chasing his own tail. Cujo, a 10? Then, I squinted at the screen again. Below the huge ten were the words, "Out of a 100."

"Way to be, Dad," I muttered. I crouched down and rubbed Cujo's belly a few times. Then, I said, "Come on, Cujo, you have to leave now!" He licked my hand, and then ran off.

I figured he'd find his way back. Now, to turn off this shield.

I flew into the kitchen, and spotted a tiny remote. "Ghost Shield Button. ON/OFF," it said in big blue letters. Typical Dad. I pressed the button, and then changed back to Fenton.

Then, I ran out the door to where my family was.

"Oh, honey! I'm so glad you're okay! What happened? Where's the ghost?" Mom fretted over me.

"Its fine, Mom!" I smiled. "The ghost was just a little one, it, um, ran off when it saw me."

"That's my son!" Dad ruffled my hair. "Come on, we've gotta finish breakfast."

He ran inside, and the rest followed.

"HEY? WHO ATE ALL OF MY TOAST?" he roared.

I guess Cujo wanted some breakfast, too.
