Never leave me again.

Walking along the path to the Leaf village, Ayah could feel what felt like butterflies raging through her stomach. She had not been in the leaf village for more than 2 years. As she drew closer to the village she could feel her legs giving way. "oh come Ayah pull yourself together." She whispered to herself. She looked down at her dog and smiled "won't be long now K-K" She thought to herself.

She walked up to the guards on the gates and showed them her papers. They looked at her in amazement. "But your ment to be dead" One of them said. "I can a sure you I'm not dead, I'm real, just like you" Ayah teased the guard. They allowed her through. Just as she was about to walk off she turned and said "Please don't tell him, I want to do that myself" They nodded.

She ran through the village looking at all the new buildings. "wow! This place looks great, Tsunade has done a great job with the village" She thought to herself. She reached a familiar building. Her apartment. She noticed that it was still the same as before she left. "I wonder if my key still works" She placed the key into the hole and turned it. The door unlocked and she walked in. Everything was still in the exact same place is was the day she left. Her book was laying on the table on the page she was reading, the coffee cup she drank from was still on the kitchen counter. Walking from room to room she glanced a the photo frame on her bedside table. It was a picture of her and Kakashi. "How am I going to tell him I'm back?" She whispered. "You could start with why" Ayah felt two arms wrap around her waist and pull her towards a warm familiar body. " I didn't want to leave you, but I had to, it was the only way I knew you would be safe" She whispered not daring to turn round. "I'm a big boy Ayah, I could of handled it" " I didn't want to take that chance." She lowered her head and let out a small tear. Kakashi turned her round and wiped her face with his thumb. " I missed you" He whispered in her ear.

This made Ayah cry even more. She could feel the pain and sorrow he had gone through since she left. "I'm sorry" She whispered before pulling away from him. "I know nothing I say or do will ever take away the pain I put you through but I just want you to know I.." Kakashi softly placed his lips on hers and gently kissed her. Ayah couldn't help but cry and allow him to kiss her. She had waited so long to feel his soft skin against hers, feel his warmth against her body. Kakashi pulled away and smiled softly at her. "Ayah I cant spend the rest of my life without you. I never want you to leave. The past 2 years have been hell. I didn't know if you were still alive, but I never gave up hope that one day you would return to me. Ayah will you marry me!" Ayah was stunned by the words that had came out of Kakashi's mouth. She had never seen him so vulnerable. She stood and stared at him for what seemed like an eternity until she finally said. "I will. You don't know how long I have waited to here that" She smiled and allowed him to kiss her again, this time more passionately.

That night they lay atop of the roof of her apartment and watched the stars. Ayah snuggled into Kakashi's chest and tightly grasped his vest as though her life depended on it. They lay there all night and fell asleep in each others arms.
