A/N I do not own Glee or Scrabble. Otherwise it'd be the Klaine show. Please review what you like/dislike/want to see in the future. Thank you!
Scrabble Night
"C-O-U-R-A-G-E, seven letters, and a double word," Blaine said through a smile as he laid the square wooden tiles onto the board.
Kurt glared at him as he documented the score. "I swear you cheat Blaine Anderson!"
"Oh baby," Blaine cooed as he reached across the table for Kurt's hand, "is somebody a sore loser?"
Kurt's eyes narrowed as he stuck his tongue out at his ravishing boyfriend. "You're much cuter when you are serenading me. Three years together and you still kick my ass at Scrabble, you cheat!"
"oooo touché," Blaine giggled. "How about a coffee date? We'll rent a movie too while we're out, then come home and have a snugglefest."
Kurt's porcelain face lit up, "Oh, that sounds divine. It's my turn to choose the film too!" He clapped his hands together excitedly.
Blaine's grin spread across his face, "What are you in the mood for babe," he asked as he began scooping Scrabble pieces into the silver bag.
Kurt stood from the table, "I am in a New York state of mind my love," he exclaimed. "RENT and takeout Chinese food are on our agenda tonight."
"Well then you go get ready and grab our coats, I'll finish up here and we'll head out."
A quick peck on the lips for Blaine then Kurt scampered up the stairs damn near squealing on the way.
Blaine quickly arranged the tiles on the board and stepped out of the room.
A few moments later Kurt descended the stairs looking as if he had stepped off a page of Vogue. The room was empty but the Scrabble pieces still sitting on the tabletop caught his attention. He walked over to the table and read what Blaine had left for him.
"KURT YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL PLEASE SHARE FOREVER WITH ME"
Kurt gasped as Blaine stepped through the doorway with a small black velvet box in hand and made his way to Kurt.
As he dropped to one knee Kurt fought tears of joy. "Kurt Hummel you are the most amazing person I have ever met. You inspire me every day. You complete me. Kurt, would you do me the honor of marrying me?"
Blaine opened the box, nestled inside lay a silver band with decorative lines etched on the outside. Kurt's tears spilled over, "There is nothing I want more in this world than to be with you forever," he answered.
Blaine slipped the band onto Kurt's left ring finger and stood up. He wrapped one arm around Kurt's waist pulling him closer and tangled the fingers of his other hand into the back of Kurt's hair.
There the two men shared the first kiss of the start of their new future through smiles and tears.
