A/N: This is a poem I wrote for my language arts class…and we had to have an ironic twist in the last stanza..so beware…I'm not sure who is talking at the end, either ed or al...not sure which so whichever one you would rather it be.

Disclaimer: -drools- Ed and Al...i love them…-wakes up- oh yeah…they're not mine.

Red coat and braided blonde hair

Glistening metal and white glove

Familiar angry yells and heated glare

All that keeps him alive is brotherly love

Suffering through all these years

Hard work bathed in sweat

Behind the tough exterior all the secret fears

And the goal is not reached yet

Wounded spirit, wounded pride

Body of a child and a softer heart

All the pain building inside

He was an adult from the start

I never seem to have much luck

Now all my hard work is in vain

My brother has been squished by a truck

And now he feels no pain
