She'd been right.
About everything.
About Allan staying loyal to the gang.
About Guy having a heart.
About there not being enough time to complete their impossible task.
And… about him running out of luck.
She'd been right about it all.
As he staggered his way through the forest he'd once called his home, Robin finally faced the truth.
Allan had never truly betrayed them.
Guy had helped kill the Sheriff and Isabella.
The king had yet to return, meaning he'd never see his hard work accomplish something.
And he'd run out of luck the day she'd died.
Through the fog of the poison, he thought he could see her. Marian.
He reached for his wife from his spot on the ground.
Yes, she'd been right.
Too bad it had taken all of their deaths to realize it…
