Hello again. Little oneshot, hope you enjoy!

Disclaimer: Criminal Minds is not mine.

"Leavin'…on a Southern train only yesterday-ay, you li-i-ied…"

The little pointer wobbled with each note that escaped the young warblist's throat. The wiggly green and amber lines forced a rise and drop in pitch each time, and the arrow drooped dangerously low.

"Promi-ses…of what I seem to be-e; only watch the time… go by-ay-ay…"

"Hold it!" shrieked a high pitched voice. Little green and yellow blips appeared on a screen, dancing vertically across the screen as a corresponding button was pressed. "Almost there…"

The young man's voice was about to give out. "All of these…things I say to you-u…"

More blips appeared, this time alternating green, red, and yellow. The guitarist expertly pressed each button so as to make the colors dance across the virtual guitar neck that flashed before them. Background noise filled in the rest of the instruments as the colors flashed and the amber 'neck' faded to black.

"Look at that, Reid," the guitarist said, clapping the singer happily across the back. "Eighty-nine percent and a six-phrase set! See, I knew you could do it!"

"I don't think I could do it again, Garcia," the singer said weakly, panting from all the high notes he'd been forced to hold as the song played.

"Oh, come on…"

"No, I-I'm serious, Garcia. I can't sing another note. I don't know why I let you talk me into doing this one…"

"Because if we don't win against Emily and JJ, we'll be doing their extra chores and crap work for a month?"

Slumping into a chair, the singer held up his hands in mock-surrender. "All right, all right. But this time, let's try something easier, hmm?"

Grinning like a Cheshire cat, the plump guitarist ran through the available setlist. "Hey, how does 'Last Train to Clarksville' sound?" Before her friend could argue, the lyrics and virtual guitar cropped into view. "I doubt they'll try something like this…"

Shaking his head, the singer readied himself for another round of high notes and measured breaths. "Next song I'm having a crack at those drums," he said. A moment later, the song blasted through the theatre speakers in the tiny apartment.

"It's the last train to Clarksville, and I'll meet you at the station…"

For reference, the songs being sung are Interstate Love Song by Stone Temple Pilots and Last Train to Clarksville by The Monkees. Points if you can guess what Reid and Garcia are up to...!
