Author's note:
This is a hypothetical situation. In the "Best Friends" episode, Cyclonis offers Piper to join the Cyclonians. In this what-if, Piper agreed, but only to be a spy and discover as much as possible to counter the cyclonians.
Slowly, Cyclonis slinked out of the room, off to tend to her other projects. Just as Piper began to move towards the door, a tall figure stepped in view.
"You're not fooling anyone, girl." His voice was cold, echoing off the walls.
"It's not like I'd expect someone like you to understand my reasoning anyway."
He frowned. "I don't know why you've chosen this method of deceit—there's no chance of success."
Her heart began to pound. She didn't think things would go smoothly, but she didn't plan ahead for instant questioning from him.
"I've chosen my side, and that's final. Maybe the same should be asked of you,Ace."
The breath was taken from her lungs momentarily as he shoved her against a wall. "Don't you dare call me that, girl." She frowned.
"I have proven myself time and time again to the master. You have not displayed an ounce of loyalty yet. What made you think we would trust you so easily?" He was practically growling out the words.
"If you do anything
to make us question your loyalty, I will kill you.
If you do anything to sabotage Cyclonia, I will kill you.
..and if you do anything to hurt master Cyclonis, I will kill you."
Her mind began to think in erratic patterns, unable to link thoughts clearly.
His eyes narrowed. "Now, Piper, I'm giving you one minute to tell me exactly why you decided to suddenly join those you call the enemy, or I'll just save us all some time and kill you now."
Trying to summon all her bravery, she started on her pre-defined story. "They didn't appreciate anything I did for them."
He continued to stare, unamused.
"I'm capable of so much more."
"Tick-tock."
She was trapped, stuck under his gaze, with nowhere to run. Her heart pounded frantically as she tried to think of a solution. Her original story would be nothing, would fall apart in a situation like this. More time, she needed more time!
"If that's all you can manage, then—"
She lunged forward, initiating perhaps the most disturbing moment of her life. Grimacing on the inside, she kissed him full on the mouth. Desperate for a distraction, anything to buy her more time to think. He immediately forced her off, an enraged look on his face as his eyes bore into hers.
A few seconds felt like grueling hours under his intense stare, as she stared back, frightened and nervous.
He slammed his mouth onto hers. Despite the sickening feeling in her chest, she tried to focus her thoughts---this was a window of opportunity, a way out. She did the best she could to keep up, to prevent him from second guessing her actions for what they really were.
He shifted to lift her slightly against the wall, crushing her against him. He grunted when she tried to move, as all it did was bring them closer. She gasped deeply for air when he parted their lips, and inhaled quickly when he moved his mouth over her neck and collar. Afraid he would continue further, she used all her strength to push him off of her, grabbing a fistful of his hair.
All was silent except for his deep breaths. He watched her closely, curiously cautious. She waited for her breath to catch up with her.
"You wanted a reason?"
She tilted his head forward slightly using the hand that still held his hair. "I'm sick of pretending everything is perfect."
Quickly she let go of his hair, and left the room with all the boldness her steps could muster.
There would be no more questions from him.
Another note: Please take into account I do NOT support any sort of relationship going on here. So if you think it's gross and disturbing--I would wholly agree.
