Hi, everyone, another post-episode drabble. This time, we're at the end of Switch!

Driving To Gibbs' Good Side

Ziva was a terrible back-seat driver. She wasn't even in the backseat. She was in the passenger seat, sitting on McGee's other side while Tony drove the truck. McGee had never felt like he was in so much danger sitting in between the two, listening to their bickering and fighting the urge to tell them to stop. He didn't want their wrath turned on him.

"I am a perfectly capable driver, Tony."

"Not in my books."

"I have a liscence."

"For what? A monster truck?"

She frowned at him. "What do monsters have to do with this?"

"I'd rather throw myself at one than sit through your driving again, for a start."

"There is nothing wrong with my driving," she snapped at him.

"No, of course not," Tony drawled sarcastically. "Plenty of people like seeing their lunch on their shoes. Twice!"

"It is not my fault if you cannot control your weak stomach," she defended.

"My stomach isn't weak, your driving is insane!"

"My driving got us to the crime scene in record time."

"Record time?" he asked dramatically. "This is your third crime scene! You haven't been here long enough for records!"

"My driving also did not get us lost," she pointed out snidely.

"Your driving did, however, get a federal agency five speeding tickets and a lot of angry phonecalls."

"They couldn't actually give us the tickets, Tony," McGee pointed out.

"They sure as hell tried, Probie."

"What is this really about, Tony?" Ziva asked. "Is it that you do not believe women should drive?"

"No!" he said quickly. "There's nothing wrong with women driving...if they drive slow."

"You do kinda drive like Gibbs, Ziva," McGee agreed hesitantly.

Ziva was quiet for a moment, and then grinned. "Of course, that is it!"

"What's what?"

"My driving is like Gibbs'. You said yourself that you did not know how to get onto his good side," she reminded Tony. "You do not like it that Gibbs and I have something in common."

"Driving like a lunatic isn't a hobby," he told her.

"No," she said, indicating Gibbs' pissed off 'you're late' expression as they pulled up at the crime scene. "But it does seem to be an asset."
