Blame the Musk

Musk, Dear
"It's so good to see you," said Jody, giving each brother a warm hug.
"So this is the famous bunker," she added, wrinkling her nose at the musky smell.
Searching for somewhere to sit, her smile grew increasingly fixed as she noticed the aged furniture and the stark decor.
"Let me get that," said Sam, hurriedly clearing a moldering tower of junk food cartons out of her way, while Dean tried to surreptitiously kick a pile of dirty laundry under the sofa.
"It's very..." she trailed off. "I'm guessing if you're actually dating, then you're not bringing them home, right?"

A/N: Jody and Donna relax after saving the Winchesters. 200 words. Last weekend I was fortunate enough to attend Asylum 15 and much of the idea for this came from the stage talk by Kim Rhodes and Briana Buckmaster (Sheriffs Jody Mills and Donna Hanscum). #BlameTheMusk seems to have originated from TorCon 2015 but tied in nicely with some of Kim's comments.

Jody sat back in her chair with a heavy sigh of relief. "Whew! Well, it's always good to see the boys, but I'm glad that's over." She nodded her thanks to Donna as she was handed a coffee and donut.
"Yah, it'll sure be good for things to go back to being quiet around here for a while," said Donna, as she bit into her own donut with gusto.
"Speak for yourself, I've somehow manage to get myself two teenage girls," snorted Jody. She ran a hand through her hair, unmindful of the powdered sugar she left behind. "I swear, I'd take a couple of those slime demons over their teen angst, any day."
Donna laughed, knowing her big-hearted friend didn't mean a word of it. "Speaking of girls; did ya hear how the boys were shriekin' when we got to 'em?"
Jody's chuckle turned to a wistful sigh. "Covered in slime or not, Dean is very pretty."
"Sam's no slouch either," added Donna. "They smell nice too. Kinda like lavender... but spicy." She shook herself. "So what did you two talk about while you were wiping him down?"
Jody blinked. "Honestly, I've no idea." She shrugged. "Blame the musk."
