Whatchamacallme: I think I read a review anOinteD4eVa826 on some poem that I can't really remember at the moment. The writer didn't know where the poem came from; it just flowed out of them. Anointed pointed out that this was the Holy Spirit working; I love that idea. Anyway, I'm figuring that the Holy Spirit told me to write this because I have absolutely no idea where it came from; it just flowed out from depths I didn't know I had. So relax and read.

Bless

Lord, grant my pen,
The words You wish.
Lord, grant my fingers,
The letters to type.
Lord, grant my thoughts,
The direction You set.
Lord, grant my soul,
The love to live.

Lord, grant others a pen,
To write the words You whisper.
Lord, grant their fingers,
To find the letters on the keyboard.
Lord, grant their thoughts,
To please only You.
Lord, grant their souls
To live the life You want.

Grant the people,
Grant the countries,
Grant the continents,
Grant the world,
Grant the universe.
Grant them all these things!

Grant them the courage,
To live everyday of their life,
Without fear of where they go.

LORD!
Give them understanding!
Give them self-control!
Give them courage!
Give them peace!
Give them hope!
Give them love!
Give them joy!
Give them...
Give...

To give is to bless.
Then bless the world.
Bless.

My fear abandons me for joy!
But whom shall I fear?
You are here!
So bless the world.
Spread it around!
Let no man refuse!

But bless the pen,
Bless the writer,
Bless the giver,
Bless the renders.
Bless the enemies of my friends.
Bless the governments.
Bless the President.
Bless one.
Bless all.

Whatchamacallme: Thanks for reading! Review if you like, I won't really know if you don't.

I wrote the verse that starts almost every line with 'Give' because I liked how it looked. That verse is meant more to be looked at as a whole.
