Title: Cloud Nine
Author: Firestarter
Pairing: Frodo/Sam
Slash: Yes-all flames will be used to cook Pippin a second breakfast (.
Summary: Frodo thinks about his feelings for Sam, confesses, but gets a reaction he didn't expect.
Disclaimer: Nope, I own none of this . It belongs to JRR Tolkien and/or his estate. I don't even get a plastic Frodo with a light-up Sting and chopping action (.
A/N: This was written with Rivendell in mind , but could be set anywhere. Romance/Angst. Frodo's POV. Any feedback greatly appreciated.
"Mr. Frodo? Are you alright there?" Sam. The only thing occupying my mind these days. "Yes, I'm fine, thanks Sam." That wasn't too much of a lie. Not really. Physically I am fine, it's just.I keep thinking about Sam. In ways that scare me.
"Are you sure there's nothing I could do for you Mr. Frodo?" Oh Sam, if only you knew. There's heaps I'd love you to do for me. "No Sam, really I'm OK." Only you'd be so disgusted with me you'd never come within a mile of me ever again. How could I possibly stand that?
Look at you.
You're so beautiful. Skin brown from days spent in the hot July sunshine, hair wind-ruffled, shot through with gold.and your eyes. Warm, caring hazel eyes, so deep you could drown in them. Apparently I'm 'fairer than most'. I could never be fairer than you.
Why can't I have you? I'd give it all up just to hold you, even just for a second. I need you. Later on.
"Umm, Sam?" "Yes Mr. Frodo, Sir?" "I. need to tell you something. If it upsets you, I'll completely understand." "I doubt that very much, Sir," Sam smiled. "Out with it then-it'll do us no good all bottled up inside." "I. love you, Samwise Gamgee." Then something happened which I didn't expect. Really didn't expect. "I love you too, Frodo Baggins."
