Blue Green Waters

Romance is tempestuous. Love is calm.

The alley way was calling to him. Soul felt his chest tighten, and for a moment he couldn't breathe. Not that he'd want to inhale the scent of gas, cheap beer, and quick sex. He shivered, the cool wind finally seeping through his jacket. He pulled it closer to him, breathing in the sweet scent of hot chocolate and muffins. The scent of home.

Soul lit up a cigarette, running a hand through his white locks in an attempt to calm down. He looked up at the blue haired man, who cockily smirked at him. Fucker. "Ah, if it isn't my favorite client?"

"Shut it, Star. Where the fuck have you been, man? Everything is total shit now." Soul took deep breathes, and he slowly felt himself start to have a panic attack as he recalled the events of last week.

Star bit his lip, looking down on the boy with pity and concern. Despite what Soul may think, Star truly did think of him as a friend. And that was a lot, considering Star didn't have many friends. "Ask me anything, man." Star leaned back on the brick wall behind him, crossing his arms.

Soul stomped out his cigarette, clinching his hands in fists as he stepped closer to the blue haired boy. "Ask you anything? Where the fuck have you been, man?" Soul pushed against his chest, making Star growl in warning. It did nothing, because Soul was the only person not scared of him. It's why Star favored the man.

Star held his hands up, a frown on his face. "Dude, what the hell happened? Tell me. I can't help if your mouth stays shut."

Soul blinked, before finally falling to the ground as letting out a wail. He felt warm tears slide down his cheek at the thought of the last week. Hell, at the last three months! And since the pain had first begun then, that's where he'd start.

"It was a little while ago..."
