Amanda sighed as she plopped down on the bed, she and Jake had just gotten home from their honeymoon and she already wished they could go back.
They had such a great time in Barbados, swimming in the crystal blue waters, getting massages, and of course all the time they spent in bed.
"I wish we could have stayed there forever," Amanda said as she noticed Jake walk through the door.
"Yeah, but we had to come back eventually babe."
"I know," Amanda replied sitting up on the bed as Jake walked over to her.
"Plus if we were still there you wouldn't get your surprise," Jake replied with a grin.
"Surprise?" Amanda said her face breaking out into a huge smile that lit up her face.
"Yep a very nice surprise, but you know if you don't want it then…" Jake said getting up off the bed and walking a few steps knowing that she would never turn down a surprise.
"No, no, no I want it. What is it? Come on tell me."
Jake turned around slowly knowing that the wait was killing her, "Alright then follow me."
Amanda eagerly followed Jake down the stairs and out of the Martin house, "Where is this thing?" she asked as he led her to the car and told her to get in.
"You'll see, now get in."
After driving for a few blocks Jake stopped the car, "Where are we?" Amanda said looking around. Jake came around the car and opened her door for her covering her eyes with his hands he led her down the sidewalk. "Jake where are you taking me?" Amanda said with a laugh as she stumbled her way along with Jake leading her the whole way.
"Alright here we are."
"Can I open my eyes now?"
Jake removed his hands from her eyes and Amanda noticed a two story house in front of her. It was beautiful with grey siding and white shutters on the windows, a two car garage, a perfect little garden in the front and a porch that wrapped around the front. It was the house she had always dreamed of when she was little, "You didn't?" Amanda replied in shock.
"Oh I did, after all were married now and we can't live with my brother forever. I thought we needed a nice house of out own."
"I can't believe you did this?" Amanda said spinning around to face him.
"You like it right? I know I probably should have waited so we could pick it out together but I saw this house and…"
"I love it, this is perfect. It's the house I always dreamed of having when I was little," Amanda replied as tears started to stream down her face.
Jake moved in closer and pulled her into his arms as he wiped the tears from her face with his thumb, "Then why are you crying."
"These are happy tears, defiantly happy tears."
