I sent War on his way last week. He was a bit anxious to start moving, to begin his work, and why should I interfere in that? His eagerness was not yet to the point that it annoyed me; it was just what I expected from the Horseman.
And as much as I would like to bring Death into this world, such cannot occur just yet. Things must progress to just the right moment, and they have yet to reach that point. However, if things go as planned, in the next month or so, I should be able to proceed.
I am aware of the fact that one of my brothers is with the Winchesters; such has been brought to my attention by some demon. (At this point, there really is no matter to get the majority of their names, I don't think. The ones that mattered have served their purposes, after all.) I only vaguely remember Castiel, I admit – very vaguely. But I do remember having heard his name … before.
And it is surely because of him that I cannot find either of the Winchesters. Even fallen – or rebelled – he can still have power. And he must have done something to keep my vessel from me.
At least, keep him from me physically. Dreams are a completely different story.
It does not surprise me too much that my brothers are still keeping secrets. The fact that Sam Winchester had no idea of his purpose did not come as the shock that one might have thought it would. I would bet that his brother had no knowledge of his purpose to be Michael's vessel until it was spelled out for him.
As I had to do with Sam.
