What is it, that keeps us running as human beings, and no I don't mean food or water, I mean what is it that makes us want to wake up in the morning. There has to be something that keeps us going, At the mere sight of this question a lot of people answer love, but is love really what keeps us going- or is it something else…
What if its your deadlines, your goals… and your work that keep you going. So maybe when a world famous author is coming up on her last deadline… and her last goal for her favorite project… shes not so willing to give the whole truth of what happens in her story. The author could have had it planned from the beginning but what if, because she wanted a reason to wake up in the morning she kept the real story to herself- What if…
Looking out on the school she sighed. This was it, the last time she would look at the school, the marvelous school that she grew up in… where she made friends, and lost some. Maybe it was better she was putting it all behind her. She knew she wasn't the only one running away. While some of the wizarding world was embarrassing magic happier than ever that the bad was finally gone… some weren't so keen to embrace happiness. Yes one bad guy down… but the realistic, the logical, they knew that it was only a matter of time for another evil leader to come… only a matter of time before someone even worse than Tom Marvolo Riddle came along and killed families and innocence. Someone way worse… someone who she knew she could see only fifteen feet away from her. All her years at this wondrous school he made hell… and she was convinced that he was going to make everyone's life hell if he could… what little remorse everyone saw the past few days she was sure, that they were all an act. The act of Draco Malfoy.
Most would think it weird for Hermione Jane Granger to hate someone. So when it came to truly hating someone with all her heart, she herself had kept it silent. But the bearer of this hate… the person that fed off the hate itself, was Draco Malfoy. She never in her life liked Draco Malfoy. Something not even her two best friends new about her. Was what happened to her before she showed up in there cabin the first time the trio had ever ridden on platform nine and three quarters… whose cabin she had been in, who had been her first Hogwarts friend. And who had ripped themselves away from her just because she was a muggle born. She had kept to herself, and so had Malfoy himself, about how they had met first. Because really, why would Malfoy want it out that he had a lot in common with a mudblood. And why would she want it out that she had had a lot in common with an evil ferret who hated her. Just like Harry hated having the common characteristics with Voldemort. So had she with Draco.
So I ask you what if… this was what really happened…
