***Author's Note*** This is only a short story on my theory about Ranma's love for Akane. It's nothing special, but I just felt that I had to find out if anyone else felt the same way I do. Remember, this is just a theory and not the actual way that Ranma feels, so I don't want anyone sending flamers to me about how he doesn't feel this way, he feels that way or something like that. Anyway, enjoy!***
***Disclaimers*** I don't own Ranma 1/2, Rumiko Takahashi does. Please don't sue me.***
Why is it that with privileges comes responsibility? Or with life comes inevitable death? I guess that that's just the way life is and there isn't anything that any of us can do about it...
That's what Ranma had thought all his life...Until the day he met Akane. Akane could only be described as beautiful...no...beautiful isn't the right word. That's not what I want to mean right now...She is beyond comparison...She is the very thing that every man fantasizes about during a daydream. Akane could wipe away anyone's troubles with a weak smile. She could stare down a tiger with her gorgeous brown eyes.
Akane changed Ranma's very existence the first time she looked straight into Ranma's eyes and asked him a very simple question. "Do you want to be friends?" Of course, Akane thought that Ranma was truly a girl at the time, but Ranma could tell that she had meant it when he looked into her eyes.
The thing that Ranma loves the most about Akane is the fire that burns in her eyes when she is angry or determined. He fell in love with that fire the very moment it showed in her.
From that day forward, Ranma would do anything to get her to light that fire just so that he could look into it.
Unfortunately, from the way the Ranma's father, Genma, had raised him, he thought that, only if Akane had told him first, that he would keep his feelings and emotions to himself, which is why Ranma will never tell, or even let on, that he loves Akane with all his heart and would do anything just so that she would be happy.
Until the day comes that Ranma can bring himself to tell Akane how he truly feels, he is quite content in making her angry so that he can look at the fire in her eyes right before she smashes him over the head with her infamous brown mallet.
***Authors Note II*** I plan to write one about the way Akane feels about Ranma and maybe even all of the couples of Ranma 1/2, but I won't do it if no one reads and reviews it so, please, if you want more stories, R&R!!!!
