What Was Right

A/N: Could it be? Another short, pointless drabble relating to Zuko and Ursa? :) Sorry...

Please review, though. I promise I'll stop...someday...maybe...

No one would ever know. They would never know why she'd done it. Who she'd been trying to protect. All of the things she sacrificed. And for what? It didn't even matter anymore. No one cared.

She remembered the feeling that had driven her to do what she'd done. That feeling of pure love. Undying desire to satisfy and protect one person. The only person she could so completely adore. In that feeling was such impossible perfection. Nothing could be wrong with him. And no matter what it took, she promised herself she would always do whatever she needed to to keep him safe.

But this world couldn't care. To them, she was a traitor. A monster. Blind to what she was doing not out of love for one, but of hatred for another. They only saw the darkness in what she did. Not anything but that.

There was so much more to it than hate, though. And they'd never know. No one wanted to know anything besides what they were so used to believing. People expected this treachery. And because of that, even in her selflessness, she was a traitor.
