There once was a poor but good little girl named Kagome

who lived alone with her mother and little brother, and they

no longer had anything to eat. So Kagome Went down a

well to a Forest in the Feudal Era, and there and aged Miko

met her who was aware of her sorrow, and presented her

with a Hanyou named Inu Yasha, who when she said "hunt boy"

would go out and hunt what ever food they wanted, which

when she said "sit boy" would cease to hunt.

The girl took the Hanyou home to her mother and brother,

and now they were freed from their poverty and hunger, and

ate food as often as they chose.

Once on a time when Kagome was out her mother said

"Sit boy" and Inu Yasha Began to hunt food which she

cooked and ate until she was satisfied, and then she wanted

Inu Yasha to quit hunting, but did not know how. So

Inu Yasha continued hunting until the kitchen and whole

house were full, and then the next house, and then the whole

street as if her wanted to satisfy the hunger of the whole world;

and there was the greatest of distress, but no one knew how to

stop him.

At last, when only one house remained, Kagome came back and

just said "Sit Boy" and he stopped hunting, and whosoever

wished to return to the town had to eat his way back.
