CHAPTER ONE: The Beginning
The first step took effort, the pain increased dramatically in my right side. I hissed, tears' forming in my eyes, the pain was unbearable.
"You'll be ok, I promise" he whispered soothingly into my ear.
A small smile slid onto my face, I am glad my brother is here to support me.
"Ferb" I muttered, he looked at me curiously. "Will I be able to build again?"
Ferb frowned sympathetically, running his hand through his hair.
"I don't know ginger beer" he said slowly.
My smile turned into a grin, the sound of Ferb's nickname for me always made me feel happier. This instantly made Ferb grin too, we both forgot I was in pain and both enjoyed that short time of happiness before the pain aroused again.
"Ow, god dammit!" I screeched.
Ferb's smile turned to a frown once again.
"Ginger beer I hate to see you like this"
"Ferbie" I giggled. "I'll be ok"
Ferb sighed and picked me up, carrying me like a groom carries a bride.
"I know but I can't see you like this it hurts me seeing as it is my fault" and with that a single tear feel on my arm.
FLASHBACK
I drove in the care with Phineas by my side, he was drunk though underage. My guess is that Isabella pressured him into it and Phineas by the love struck fool he is caved in.
"Ferb, Ferb where are you taking me?" he slurred, the alcohol in his breath smothering me.
"Home" I muttered.
"Ferb, Ferb I love you"
"I love you too ginger beer, you are a great brother"
"No not like that like a…a lover"
I turned to stare at my drunk brother and that's when it happened and all I saw was two evil piercing lights.
END
"Are you sure ginger beer you don't remember what happened that night?" Ferb asked me for the seventh time since we got home.
Ferb was sitting beside me his green hair a mess and dark circles around his eyes. According to Candace he hasn't slept for days, apparently sitting by my hospital bed sobbing for hours on end. Not that I usually listen to Candace but this time I think she may be telling me the truth.
"Yes Ferb I remember nothing! To drunk…" I said, I could feel my cheeks going red, probably as red as the mane of hair that I have.
Ferb looked disappointed for some reason, probably ashamed about how intoxicated I was.
"Ok giner bear, now I have to go to school, bye" he mutter and walked out slowly, pausing at the door frame to turn and look at me before leaving my room for good.
Ferb made his way down to the school he hasn't been to for two months, the last time being the day of the accident.
"Ferb mah man, you're back, sweet. 'Ow is he?" a voice said from behind Ferb.
The voice was easy to recognise, Buford's.
"He's good"
