PENTHESILEA
Proud queen. Last of her kind.
We are the same, then? No. I am the only, the first. She is but the last.
She fights.
It is futile. Does she not know that I am superior?
She prays…
…but to the wrong god. I am God.
Sacrificial, heroic fool.
Yet…yet I cannot deny her a certain naïve charm.
Impudent girl.
To think you could have been my queen.
But too late.
Even now your blood feeds the wild lust of my blade.
No regret.
Never regret, even if my heart does beat so strangely at the sight of you.
Death becomes you.
Death to you, my Amazon queen.
Death to you.
A/N: Um...yeah. A very strange fic coming from me. One, I don't ship Seph/Aerith (She and Zack are too much fun to not be together). Two, the style is very not me. But, I came across the myth of Achilles and Penthesilea (look it up on Wikipedia if you're interested) in my Chinese strategic thought class and Sephiroth and Aerith came immediately to mind.
