A notable saying is that love is friendship inflamed. Does that count when the both of you are off the same gender? Why do they want to do this? They say that color doesn't matter, age doesn't matter (as long as it's legal) race doesn't matter, hair and eye color doesn't matter, then why should gender matter?

The political wars going on right now that are discussed about Gay Marriage rights taints our entire government's ways. They pledged to keep religion, and state separate right as we started to colonize this country!

The reason that so many people are against homosexuality is because of prejudiced beliefs written in the Bible. They express that homosexuality is a sin, and that man or woman will be punished for it. Doesn't that also mean that those that are religious are bringing their beliefs into our government's way of working? Doesn't that mean that the religion is NOT being separated from law?

Why does no one see this, why can't we all just do what our heart's tell us to?

I love a man. I am also a man. Does that make it wrong for me to love him all the same? I am horrified that people are killed, and beaten everyday because of the people they choose to love, and not to love. Why would anyone be so cruel?

What foolish questions I've been asking myself. I should know why people are so cruel. I, being a super hero named Static Shock, see it everyday. Cruelty, hate, jealousy, and much more. The world is a dismaying, and dreadful place.

Those called 'Queers, Dyke, Ho, Homo, Lesbo, Butt-fucker, ass-licker, cunt-licker, and such.' These words can bring so much hatred, and fear to those around them.

On the other hand, there is a light shining for some of us. I found my light in a man named Richard Foley, nicknamed Richie. He has blonde hair, blue eyes, and pair of glasses covering those sky colored eyes. He is a human, he is a man, and he is the one I cannot stand to see hurt. I fight for him, and him alone because of what people have done to myself and others. One day, I hope I can stop it, but I'm not so sure.

I love you Richie, but I can't tell you yet. I can't let people hurt you, so for now you are my best friend. Remember love, is friendship inflamed.
