A/N:  Please excuse my sudden use of excessive fluffiness as of late.  It is not my fault.  BLAME THE BUNNY!  This songfic contains slash, though nothing happens between the boys.  It does hint that something may have happened beforehand though.  This is the sequel/aftermath to When Doves Cry (I got such a good response for it that I decided to write a sequel). =^_^=  R&R please!

Pairing:  R/D

Come What May, by Alexa Donaghy

Ron smiled as he looked at his lover, sleeping peacefully on the bed.  Draco's blonde hair was falling into his eyes and his rosy lips were curved in a content smile.  The redhead was amazed at the emotions that washed over him every time he so much as even thought of the Slytherin.  Ever since that day in Potions, when they had confessed feelings so deep that even they were surprised that they were there, Ron and Draco had been inseparable.  Ron opened his mouth as he began singing a song that had been in his head all day long.

"Never knew I could feel like this,

Like I've never seen the sky before.

I want to vanish inside your kiss,

Every day I love you more and more.

Listen to my heart, can you hear it sing,

Telling me to give you everything.

Seasons may change, winter to spring,

But I love you, until the end of time.

            Come what may…

            Come what may…

I will love you, until my dying day…"

Draco was having a wonderful dream that Ron Weasley was serenading him yet again.  The song was beautiful and he itched to join in.  Who knew that a *Gryffindor*, WEASLEY, of all people, would make his life complete?  Death Eaters… Voldemort… Lucius Malfoy… hell, even Salazar Slytherin himself couldn't tear them apart now.  There could be miles between them or a thousand obstacles, but something as petty as distance or trials couldn't stop them

//No…// thought Dream Draco.  //Now that I've "found" him, no one is bloody taking him away from me.//

Draco grinned maliciously at the thought of what he would do if someone tried to take Ron from him, and began singing the next verse in his dreams.

"Suddenly the world seems such a perfect place…

Suddenly it moves with such a perfect grace…

Suddenly my life doesn't seem such a waste…

            It all revolves around you.

And there's no mountain too high,

            No river too wide,

Sing out this song, and I'll be there by your side.

            Storm clouds may gather,

            And stars may collide,

But I love you, until the end of time…

            Come what may…

            Come what may…

I will love you, until my dying day…"

Ron chuckled at the sight of his very-much-asleep boyfriend singing along to the song.  He reached over and tucked a platinum lock behind Draco's small, pink ear and continued singing with the dreaming boy.

            "Oh come what may…

            Come what may…

            I will love you…

            I will love you…

Suddenly the world seems such a perfect place…

            Come what may…

            Come what may…"

The blonde opened a pair of sleepy eyes the color of silver nitrate and smiled at the boy stroking his cheek, while singing quietly.

//I know do know one thing for sure…// thought Draco, as he and Ron crooned the last line.

"I will love you, until my dying day…"

//That potion was the best bloody thing that ever happened to me…//
