I do not own Austin and Ally.
"Why can't we live with you!"
"Yeah! You know Trish can't hold down a job, and no one would ever sale me a house."
Ally let out a breath and stood in front of Trish and Dez. The pair had come to invite her to a movie when they overheard Ally talking to her mom. Mrs. Dawson snuck out of the bedroom when her daughter's best friends entered.
I really have to start locking our front door Ally said to herself.
"After all we've done for you. We came to ask you to a movie that Dez was going to pay for."
"Yeah! Wait, I never said that!"
"Like I was saying, I can't believe you told your mom living with me and Dez was your biggest fear! I'm your best friend, Ally!"
Ally gave them an apologetic smile and shrugged her shoulders.
"You guys weren't suppose to hear me. My mom was just wondering if I had any fears now that I've overcome my stage fright. Aren't we glad I'm not afraid to follow my dreams now?"
The tall redhead seated on the couch grinned. "Of course Ally! All is forgiven," he said before standing up and opening his arms for a hug.
Trish stood up quickly and nudged Dez with her elbow.
"Dez! She insulted us. Remember!"
The boy thought for a moment then frowned at Ally.
"Yeah! Trish and I would make the best roommates ever!"
Ally furrowed her brow and shifted her gaze from the taller to the shorter disgruntled friend. "Are you two serious?"
Zebra print sleeves crossed over a blue tank top and a multicolored button-up as a pair of "hmpfs" broke the silence.
Ally rolled her eyes but soon a smirk began to form on her lips.
"Is your only concern not living with me? Is that the only thing about what I said that bothers you?"
Trish unfolded her arms and put her hands on her hips. "Well duh, you're my best friend. You should always want to live with me," she pouted and added, "No matter how many jobs I explore."
"Yeah, why would marrying Trish bother me," Dez added as he shoved his hands into his pockets.
The room was silent.
"Wait a second. Hold on."
Ally's smirk grew as she held Trish's wide-eyed stare.
"But that would mean, Ally, that would..."
"That's right Trish."
"Uh, am I missing something?"
Dez looked from one girl to the other. He and Ally jumped when Trish suddenly let out a scream.
"No! No, no, no, no!"
Trish rushed past Ally and ran out the bedroom door.
Dez wiggled five fingers in front of Ally's face.
"What does five 'No's mean?"
Ally patted him on the back and winced as she heard a crash downstairs.
"It means 'Yes.'"
