As soon as the train was out of his view, Harry's hand lowered and he gave a preoccupied sigh.
"Don't worry" said Ginny as her soft hand slipped into his "Teddy will take care of James"
Harry grinned wickedly as they walked out of the station "It's not James I'm worried about he answered "It's Hogwarts that worries me"
Later that day, a letter came from James
"Mum! He was sorted into Gryffindor, and so was Fred!" yelled Albus from the kitchen, where he was reading the letter to Lily.
"Seems like our James is, after all, his namesake's legacy" whispered Harry's voice in her ear as he wrapped her in a hug "The Marauder's map has vanished from my desk"
Ginny laughed at that "Pair him up with Fred and they'll give Teddy a handful" giggled Ginny
Harry huffed "Ted! that kid's truly Remus and Tonks' son! Don't know what possessed me to give him the map in his first year, and to ask him to watch after James!" with those words Harry took off to the kitchen, leaving a very thoughtful Ginny behind.
The grandson of a Marauder, son of another Marauder's godson, named after both of them. The son of George Weasley, one of the infamious weasley twins, named after his deceased uncle. Placed in the care of the only son of a Marauder with an auror, whom also happened to be a werewolf and a Metamorphmagus respectively. All three of them determined on following the steps of their namesakes, and all armed: the first with an infallible invisibility cloak and the Marauder's map, the second with an endless stock of Weasley's Wizarding Wheezes, and the third in posession of a vast wisdom only a lifetime of pranking gave. Top that with a herd of mischievous weasleys, and a poltergeist who worshipped Fred Weasley, and the little prankster masterminds would be unstoppable.
"Harry's right" thought Ginny as she entered the kitchen "With those three around, Hogwarts won't know what hit it."
