Once upon a time I was listening to 'remains of the day' from the Corpse Bride soundtrack. Then I magically started singing these words. That is how this song was born. Hooray! I love both Corpse Bride and the Nightmare before Christmas, so this should satisfy everyone (P.S. It does help if you have 'Remains of the day' playing in the background.) Okay, here goes…

Bone jangles: Hit it Boogie's boys…

Hey! Give me a listen, you creatures of cheer,

Least those of you, who've got more than one ear,

I'll tell you a story make the bogeyman cry,

of how Lock Shock and Barrel would come here to die

(Die, Die, all vanish away, but don't be afraid 'cos it's really okay,

You might try and hide and you might try to pray, but we all end up at the bogeyman's bay

Hahaha! Yeah, yeah, yeah yeah yeah, yeah yeah yeah)

Wooowwww,

Our kids were three terrors feared for miles around,

A mysterious carnival came into town,

It was pretty good-looking, and you didn't need cash,

And our poor little babies they flew hard and fast

When they're daddy said NO!

They thought 'that's not cool!'

So our kiddies came up to run 'way from the rules

(Die, Die, all vanish away, but don't be afraid 'cos it's really okay,

You might try and hide and you might try to pray, but we all end up at the bogeyman's bay

! Yeah, yeah, yeah yeah yeah, yeah yeah yeah)

(Instrumental)

Oh, that's right Barrel *Barrel taps drums*

Okay Shock pick it up! *Shock plays saxophone*

Like it. Ok Lock you take it! *Lock strums guitar*

Yeah! Go!yeah yeah yeah! C'mon! Go! Go! Go! Go! Go! Wow!

Oh that's nice…

Yeeeeeeaaahhh

So they conjured up a plan to run away at night

They told not a soul, kept the whole thing tight,

Wore their trick-or-treater things, fit like a glove,

With Shock's pet spider and the masks that they loved

Except a few other things, or so I'm told,

Like some Halloween candy and a sack fulla gold

Then next to the graveyard by the old oak tree,

On a dark foggy night at about nine thirty,

They were ready to go, but who was he?

(and then)

They stood still…

(And then)

There, In the shadows…who was that man?

(AND then)

Their little hearts beat so loud…

(AND THEN)

And then babies…everything went black….

Now when they opened their eyes, they were undead as dust

Shock's spider was missing and their hearts were bust

So they made a vow lying under that tree,

That they'd wait for their parents to come set them free,

Always waiting for someone who would understand,

When out of the blue comes the cool bogeyman

Who promises always, to go let them play (oh yeah)

And that's how our babies got to bogeyman's baaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyy (oh yeah)

(Die, Die, all vanish away, but don't afraid 'cos it's really okay,

You might try and hide and you might try to pray, but we all end up at the bogeyman's baaaaay)

Badobup,badoba,badiddlybupadoba YEEEEAAAAAAHHH!
