Kari's True Love
By Golden Dragon
Just as it
always happens, Kari got her strange feeling when she saw her friend and fellow
digidestined, Tom Frangro. She was walking in the park, with Gatomon hiding in
her bag, when she overheard Tom and Felinemon's voices from behind the bushes.
She went through and found Tom, dressed in his high school jacket, and
Felinemon, dressed in clothes to look like a kid. "Hi Kari! I was just planning
to take Felinemon to the secret place in the park. Want to come along?" asked
Tom as he smiled at Kari.
"You're asking me to come along?"
replied the shocked Kari as Gatomon poked her head through the bag.
Tom's face looked like he was hiding
something as he nervously smiled and said, "Yep, it's because well…I…uh, you're
a good friend of mine," Kari accepted and followed Tom into an abandoned courtyard.
She still had the strange feeling about Tom that she couldn't explain, and it was
all that she had on her mind. Suddenly, it began raining and Tom took Kari,
Felinemon, and Gatomon into an old, big shack. The four watched the rain for a
while, and then Tom noticed Kari was shivering.
"I'm so cold," said Kari as Gatomon hopped on
her lap, trying to warm her. Tom looked for some piece of fabric to warm up Kari,
but couldn't find any. That's when he remembered his favorite jacket he was wearing.
"Here, take my jacket," said Tom with a smile,
leaving Kari speechless as she took and wore it. When Kari saw the kindness in Tom's
eyes, she knew what the feeling she was having about him. It was love…
"Tom,
I never told you this, but…I love you," said Kari, leaving Tom speechless and then
letting out a half-smile.
"I love
you too, Kari," replied Tom before he and Kari kissed for the first time. Gatomon
and Felinemon exchanged a smile, they suspected Tom and Kari loved each other for
a long time. Finally, the rain stopped and the four went home.
Several years later…
"Tom Frangro, do you take this woman
to be your wife to love until death due you part?" asked the preacher to the
groom, Tom.
Kari and Tom's families and friends
all showed their happiness as Tom replied, "I do," The digimon watched from the
windows, since they couldn't been seen at the wedding or some people may get scared.
The preacher turned to his head to
the bride, Kari, and asked, "And do you, Kari Kamiya, take this man to your
wedded husband to love till death due you part?"
Kari gave out the happiest smile of
her life as she replied, "I do," To Tom and Kari, this was the happiest day of
their lives.
The preacher raised his robed arms as
he said, "Then with the power invested in me, I pronounce you man and wife. You
may now kiss the bride," Tom and Kari gave a kiss as everyone, human and
digimon, expressed their happiness again. Then, the newly webs happily walked
down the aisle, knowing the rest of their lives will be spent together.
