To some people, darkness is a beautiful thing. They spend a lifetime searching for the darkness hidden in themselves. To Kyo, darkness was the ugly beast he hid from people. Instead of trying to find his darkness, Kyo ran away from it. He wanted to avoid it at all costs. Kyo could just imagine if Tohru saw it. How she would run away in fear and never want to see him again. How she would…
SMACK!!
"Why must you run into the door, Kyo?" Shigure sighed as he sipped on a hot cup of tea.
"Shut up!" Kyo snapped. He rubbed the bruise that was forming on his head.
"That's the third time this week." Shigure replied. "Perhaps we were thinking of a pretty girl."
Kyo's face grew red, and he prepared to hit Shigure. But as always, Tohru popped in carryind dinner. Tonight. It was rice and leeks. Kyo hissed. He hated leeks almost as much as he hated that stupid rat.
Tohru notice Kyo hiss and went back into the kitchen. She returned with a plate of rice and fish, Kyo's favorite meal. Kyo's mouth watered as he smelled the fish. Fish was Kyo's crack.
"I hope you enjoy your meal." Tohru bowed and left the room.
"How you notices Tohru hasn't eaten much lately?" Shigure asked.
"Yeah." Yuki walked into the dining room and sat down, "Ms. Honda doesn't eat a lot anymore. She also gets tires a lo…"
Shigure and Yuki jumped as Kyo slammed his fists on the table. He stormed from the room and up the stairs. He stopped in front of Torhu's door and banged on it.
"Open up!" Kyo commanded. After a moment of silence, Kyo kicked down the door and, what he saw stopped him in his tracks.
