A/N: Wow, I'm writing fanfic again. It's been, like, two years since I last updated *anything* to , and the first thing I bring back is a drabble of minuscule proportions. For anyone wondering, the title of this collection translates literally "Little Thoughts" from Italian. More to come, I hope! Enjoy the story!

She hates her mother, he knows, with every fiber of her being. First it was for bringing her into the world and leaving her at the mercy of her sickness. Then, as she grew older, it was for abandoning her father, because even though she was young, she knew that Nathan was lonely in a way she couldn't fix. After the opera, though, she couldn't even bring herself to feel anger towards Marni. So when the Graverobber comes to her after a slow harvest night, silently asking permission, she took him down to the crypt without even a token word of protest. He hesitates after pushing back the lid of the stone casket, looking to Shilo one last time. She notices his hesitation and her voice rings through the silent mausoleum like a church bell that hasn't been properly cleaned. "Do it."
