Elliot sighed as he drove towards Fin's apartment. They hadn't been doing this for too long. It had taken a while for them to act on their mutual attraction.
They both were divorced men with children. They hadn't thought of the idea of being with another man, and before they'd gotten together they had spent a lot of time instigating fights with each other because of how unsure they were.
They had only been together a little while and Elliot had fucked up royally.
He'd actually thought Fin had helped Chester Lake escape. He knew that if Olivia had been accused of a crime, he would have helped her. Yet another way Fin and he were different- Fin followed the rules and Elliot didn't care one way or the other.
He knocked on the door to his apartment. Fin opened, scowling.
"I don't want to talk to you."
"I'm sorry." Elliot said, desperately.
"It's not even what you did, as much as I'm mad about that."
"Then what is it?" Elliot asked, confused.
"You don't trust me."
"Yes, I do!"
"Sure didn't look like it to me."
"I do, I just..."
"Fucked up."
"Like usual." Fin sighed, unsure of whether Elliot actually thought that or was trying to get 'pity points.'
"I forgive you. Just don't do it again." Elliot nodded.
"I won't. I promise." He kissed Fin soundly.
`The end!`
