"Have you ever felt betrayed?" The voice is quiet, right next to your ear. It has grown softer in your post-coital haze, but the words hit you with force you'd hardly expected. "Do you know what it's like to find out that someone close to you, someone you care about very much, has done something they swore they would never do? To find out that they've hurt you, and to know that they couldn't even admit it to you?"

And your stomach sinks, even as a thrill goes through you. You like the idea of getting found out, of testing the limits. But you know you've done something that you swore you wouldn't do. You've cheated on your wife. Worse than that, you've cheated on her with a woman she hates and despise almost as much as she hates the Dark Lord.

Was it worth it?

She sits up, makes no attempt to hold the sheet up to cover herself. Soft light flowing in from the crack at the bottom of the blinds illuminates her, turns her into a silhouette. She's always been forbidden to you, and you got the chance to have her. You have a wife at home, a woman carrying your own child. A woman you had to chase down for half of the years you were at Hogwarts, who only turned to you when her best friend turned out to be a Death Eater in training. You disapproved of Severus Snape to the extreme, and yet you commit adultery with Bellatrix Lestrange.

And you truthfully enjoyed every moment of it.

"I don't… I don't think so, no." You swallow thickly, watch as she leans over toward you. "Have you?"

"You're lying." Her nails run down your chest, lightly at first, then come with a little sting. It makes you squirm, but not uncomfortably. You want more of everything she can give you. Then her breath is against your neck, and her voice a whisper by your ear. "We all have."

There is bitterness in her voice, which makes you believe her. Maybe you haven't been betrayed yet, but you will be one day. That doesn't matter to you though, not when you feel like your blood has been set on fire...like you'll go insane if you can't get a release. "I think you should say we all will… Hasn't happened to me yet."

"Do you mean it?" She asks like she even cares, but you know that all that she wants is another round of you.

"Do you?"

She shrugs, and you can see her hiding that brief exposure she gave you earlier. It's tempting to ask her who it was who managed to hurt her, to get more personal. But you can't make yourself do it. Emotions aren't something you want right now.
