The Sonnet of Anakin Skywalker: Shakespearean Version

A/N: This is a sonnet I had to do for my English Lit. class. I couldn't come up with anything else, so I did one on Star Wars. I've been wanting to do something for a while for the series, so I was glad I could come up with this. Hopefully it fits the story perfectly. There is actually another version I wrote that I might upload as the next chapter, but it's actually Spenserian (another form of sonnet poetry by Edmund Spenser) so it's slightly different. Please, read, review, enjoy.

Star Wars is owned by George Lucas, so don't sue me.

He had a chance to father, to romance

To stay on Naboo and have, at last, peace

And the family he wanted by chance

After the years of his mother's decease.

But then the peaceful warrior battled

For the Republic, for love and for good.

then came betrayal; powerless, rattled

Jedi fought him, like he against them would.

Luke's arm was as cold as Hoth, an eye

To Vader who came pleading betrayal.

Luke pulled away screaming, "I'm a Jedi!"

Vader sighed as Luke jumped over the rail.

"You were my brother, Anakin! I loved you!"

Despite hate, he loved Obi-Wan too.
