The Head Boy, The Head Girl, and A Ball

Rose sighed. What had she done to deserve having to work with a Malfoy? As Head Girl, she and the Head Boy had to plan the entire Christmas Ball. She had never actually met Scorpius Malfoy, but rumors got around. Not that she gossiped or anything (Lily loved to gossip and happened to tell Rose about everything). Anyways, there was to be a ball at Hogwarts and it had to be entirely planned in a weeks' time.

It was the second to last day of planning and putting together the dance and, so far, Rose and Scorpius hadn't made any progress on friendship. They were currently putting up decorations, flashing their wands to the ceiling and walls. Vines and wreaths and ribbons adorned the walls. Scorpius was standing stiffly next to Rose when he looked up. Smirking, he sent a few sparks up and turned to the stunning Weasley next to him.

"Look up," he whispered. Rose's heart lurched when she spotted the green and red above. Her mouth went dry and she blushed like crazy.

"Mistletoe," was the one intelligent word that escaped from her mouth.

He nodded and the pair leaned in towards each other.
