"A BORDING SCHOOL?!?!?!" We all said simultaneously. Chiron had just told all of that he was sending us to "Half-Blood High", a new boarding school for demigods, satyrs, etc. It's not like it was far or anything, only a few miles away, but we loved camp, and we didn't want to leave all the memories we had here.
"Chiron," I began to say "but we all love it here, plus most of us already go to a high school. Why would we need to change the situation we have now? Plus, putting us all together in one place could be dangerous."
"Yeah, and get us killed... AGAIN!" Nico butted in.
"Yes, I understand the risks" Chiron mused. "However, I have conversed with the Gods on this matter, and they agree with this plan. Some year-round children are not able to get the schooling that they need. Also, there needs to be a method of teaching the younger children how to handle their powers and use them safely.
"Besides, this school has borders just like the camp, so no monsters or anything dangerous can get in. It's very secure, the security details were made by Ares and your mother, Annabeth, Lady Athena." He finished.
"Come on, guys, it'll be fun!" Said Leo. "I mean seriously, we can go to high school, all of us together, and we won't have to worry about not using our powers or being carful of what we say. It'll be like camp!"
About half of the group murmured some kind of agreement. The only people who didn't were myself, Nico, and Hazel. They had never been to a school in this decade yet, so one can guess the reason for their hesitation.
"Are you sure it will be safe?" I questioned.
"Yes, don't worry. It will be equally if not more safe than Camp Half Blood and Camp Jupiter." replied Chiron.
I gave in, it actually did sound like a good idea, and since Mother and Ares came up with the security details, I doubt there will be any flaws.
"Alright, fine, I'll go" I concluded. Hazel and Nico exchanged worrisome looks as cheers went up between us.
I guess we're going to Half-Blood High.
